Mullet Cabinet receives several awards

Mullet Cabinet was honored four times at the Building Industry Association (BIA) of Central Ohio’s annual awards ceremony, held May 20, which recognizes excellence in marketing and merchandising efforts.The company’s design center, tradeshow booth, Web site and grand opening invitation were selected as the winners of their categories. The tradeshow booth also recently received an award for the best Home Improvement Exhibit at the Central Ohio Home and Garden Show.Mullet Cabinet’s new design center, which opened in spring 2009, was the impetus for creating new marketing materials to celebrate the opening. The design center features several complete room settings and styles, along with a complete door style, finish and hardware showcase.This was Mullet Cabinet’s first time entering BIA’s marketing awards. An associate member of BIA, Mullet Cabinet was among the top award recipients in all member categories, which include Builders/Remodelers and Realtors. BIA of Central Ohio has 900 members, 600 of whom are associate members.“To earn this recognition from our peers is a great compliment to the hard work that went into making our design center a success,” said Jordan Mullet, sales and marketing manager for Mullet Cabinet.The Mullet Cabinet Design Center is open to designers and the public Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The company’s cabinetry will also be featured in the BIA Parade of Homes in New Albany, July 24 to August 8, through a partnership with Weaver Custom Homes.Started as a father-and-son venture in 1975, Mullet Cabinet combines the quality of old-world craftsmanship with a keen design sensibility.
