Geneva Fern Mullet
Geneva Fern Mullet, 93, of Berlin died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013 at her residence. She was born August 9, 1920 in Berlin Twp. to the late Lincoln and Ida (Miller) Yoder. She was the bookkeeper for the family business for many years, a member of the Berlin Mennonite Church, childrens librarian at the Berlin Branch of the Holmes County Public Library and volunteered at the Walnut Hills Nursing Home. She was married June 15, 1941 to Ivan A. Mullet who died June 30, 2008. She is survived by her children Pam Eubanks of Ashland, Barbara (Dallas) Rychener of Silver City, N.M., Tom (Sharon) Mullet of Berlin, Jim (Judy) Mullet of Harrisonburg, Va.; 13 grandchildren Renee Eubanks of Zanesville, Susan (Heath) Garrison of Ashland, Beth (Rich) Siegenthaler of Wooster, Amy (Mike) Nelson of Ashland, Tyler (Claudine Metrick) Rychener of Massachusetts, Todd Rychener of Texas, Kristi Rychener of New Mexico, Sheila (Scott Bodiker) Mullet of Berlin, Mike (Megan) Mullet of Winesburg, Deb (Chris Dages) Mullet of Berlin, Cory (Emi Oda) Mullet, Emily (Andrew Parker) Mullet, and Bryn (Jason) Good all of Virginia; 15 great grandchildren, one brother Carl Yoder of Berlin, and five sisters Vera Boyd and Gladys Mast both of Berlin, Mabel Rottman and Betty Ebersole both of Wooster and Judy Stutzman of Berlin. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her son-in-law Art Eubanks, an infant brother Bobby and her sister Mary Hummel. Services were held on Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Berlin Mennonite Church and Pastor Myron Weaver officiated. Private burial will be in Berlin Cemetery.
