The Wayne County Farm Bureau will hold “Gases on the Farm,” the first session in its Safety Series, on March 17 at Orrson Custom Farming, 9330 Lautenschlager Road, Apple Creek.

Content will target farmers that work around fermented feeds and manure pit gas, as well as custom manure applicators. Attendees can receive safety training credit through BWC. The program includes Matt Ludwig, Nationwide Risk Management; Eric and Megan Dresbach, W.D. Farms LLC; and Sean Clements, Gas Clip.

The event is open to the public and free to attend, but registration is required by completing the form at https://forms.gle/roHo6Wq18y7HLc8R7. Lunch is available from noon to 1 p.m. with the program beginning at 1 p.m. This event is sponsored by Harold’s Equipment with lunch provided by 3-D Meats.
