Ellen Jane Hatfield
Ellen Jane Hatfield, 62, of Berlin and formerly of western New York died Monday, Sept. 22, 2014 at her residence.She was born Aug. 30, 1952 in Buffalo, N.Y. to the late Donald George and Ruth (Howland) Hatfield. She had worked at the Farmstead Restaurant in Berlin and was a member of the Berlin Mennonite Church.She is survived by her children, Wende (Francis) Urbanski, Kristal Warner and Linda (Michael) Juhacz all of New York, and George (Stephanie) Warner III of Pennsylvania; 11 grandchildren; brother, Howard (Carol) Hatfield of Berlin and sisters, Dora Somerville of New Mexico and Nora (Richard Hilburger) Hatfield of Oregon.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jane E. Carney.Memorial services were held Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014 at 4 p.m. at the Berlin Mennonite Church with Pastor Myron Weaver officiating. Burial will be in the (new) Berlin Cemetery at a later date. A reception will be held in the church social hall following services where the family will receive friends.Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home at Sugarcreek.Memorials may be made to the Berlin Mennonite Church, P.O.
