Benjamin J. Burnham of Dover was among the students who received a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine at the college’s April 18 degree conferral.

The child of John and Judy Burnham of Dover, Burnham earned a B.S. in biology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2016 and is a 2012 graduate of Tuscarawas Central Catholic High School in New Philadelphia.

After graduation Burnham will begin an internship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, followed by a residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

The 2020 graduating class was the 41st to graduate from the Heritage College, which was created by the Ohio Legislature in 1975 and is the only institution in the state accredited to educate osteopathic physicians.
