The Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce announced plans for the Orrville Community Yard Sale Days on Friday, Oct. 5 and Saturday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Orrville’s Yard Sale Days typically boast over 100 residential yard sales and sidewalk sales as well as discounts at local merchants. The 2018 Sale Days are sponsored by Journey in Time, Everything Rubbermaid and AloNovus, publisher of the Bargain Hunter and the Wooster Weekly News.

Journey in Time, 1314 Wadsworth Road, Orrville, will have House of Woody’s BBQ on site for the event. Vendor space also will be available to rent in the JIT parking lot for Friday and Saturday. The cost is $10. Stop in or call 330-465-6709 to reserve a spot.

Everything Rubbermaid’s truck-load sale is an annual attraction and always draws a large crowd. The sale will be held inside the newly renovated rear of Journey in Time. Come early for the best selection of quality Rubbermaid merchandise.

The Orrville Historical Society will host sales on the west-side lawn of the Smith Orr Homestead, 365 W. Market. Spaces are limited. Call 330-930-0113 for details and to reserve a spot.

For any leftover items one has, look for the Goodwill Industries Home pick-up truck driving around Orrville all day on Oct. 6, collecting any unsold items. One also can bring leftovers to the Orrville Goodwill store anytime between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Call 330-464-8763 to schedule a free home donation pick-up.
