Colts put on power display against Knights

Clear Fork posted a pair of convincing wins over the Knights in Ohio Cardinal Conference baseball action Tuesday and Wednesday, April 27 and 28.On Tuesday at West Holmes, the Colts romped 13-2 and then followed that up with a 17-0 thrashing of the Knights in Bellville.Aaron McKee was rocked for 11 runs on 11 hits over two innings. Travis Hissong hammered a pair of home runs for the Colts, and also struck out six in three innings work on the hill.Dustin Carder gave up two runs on three hits over the final two innings of work. Cory McVicker singled, walked and scored twice to lead the Knights offense.On Wednesday, McVicker, Bryce Norman and Stewart Sabine had hits for the Knights as a trio of Clear Fork hurlers blanked the Knights.Sabine gave up seven runs on seven hits and Gabe Snyder was tagged for five runs on four hits. Derek Reusser gave up three runs on two hits. Clear Fork smoked a pair of home runs in the win.
