Coaches Crawl 5K Run and Walk registration underway

The Tuscarawas County Cross Country Coaches’ Association is sponsoring their annual Coaches Crawl 5K Run and Walk and One-Mile Kids Run on June 17, at the Dennison Yard. Registration begins at 5 p.m. at the Dennison Yard. Pre-registration is requested if possible. The One-Mile Kids Run begins at 6:30 p.m. with the 5K race to follow at 7 p.m.The entry fee is $15 until June 13 and $20 the day of the race.The top three male and female overall winners will receive an award in each age group. Age groups are: 13 and under, 14-18, 19-24, 25-35, 36-45, 46-55 and 56 and over.One-Mile Fun Run participants will receive a ribbon and age group winners will receive a coupon for a small pizza from Dennison Yard. Age groups are: 6 and under, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12.T-Shirts will go to the first 75 paid participants. The course consists of paved roads with the race beginning and finishing at the Dennison Yard Restaurant. This is part of the Tuscarawas County Challenge Series. All proceeds from the race will go to help with costs of running the county meet as well as the scholarship fund that is given out to local high school cross country runners.Checks can be mailed to James Krocker, 3501, Sani Road SE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663 and made payable to TCCCCA.
