Olivia Pangrazio, daughter of Nino and Traci Pangrazio of Dennison and a senior at Claymont High School, recently was selected as one of eight winning portfolio applicants for the Destination: Seniors nationwide high school model search. Her participating studio was Dover’s Solid Rock Photos.

Pangrazio will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Destination: Seniors 2018 photographer training event in Las Vegas, Nevada, this coming January. She and the other winners will participate in stylized photo sessions in and around Las Vegas including Red Rock Canyon, the ghost town at Nelsonville, Las Vegas Arts District, the famous Las Vegas strip and more.

The four-day event, in addition to providing the nationwide model search, serves as an annual training event for some of the nation’s finest high school senior photographers. Winners from six states were selected with Olivia being the only candidate chosen from the state of Ohio.

“We are thrilled to have another high school senior from our area and our studio be recognized for this honor,” Solid Rock owner and lead senior photographer Suzanne Trimmer said. “The Las Vegas area offers so much variety in terms of locations: changes from desert and mountains to incredible resorts and pools, even a ghost town. The beauty is everywhere. Being able to work with a client of ours in a setting like that alongside some of the premier high school photographers in the country is a humbling and exciting experience. We know Olivia is going to take this opportunity and knock it out of the park.”

Pangrazio joins Central Catholic High School’s Jada Clendenin, New Philadelphia’s Tyler McDade and Dover’s Reagan Ress, who all were previously selected as national finalists in the competition.

Solid Rock Photos is a boutique portrait studio in Dover that specializes in high school senior photography. SRP was the 2014 Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year, and for the seventh year in a row, it has been selected as the area’s Favorite Photographer in the Times Reporter Readers Poll.
