Bertha Marie “Dee” Wright, 74, of Malvern died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in the Great Trail Care Center in Minerva.She was born Sept. 29, 1939 in Elba, to Herschel and Goldie (Clark) Stack. She was a housewife and co-owner of Forest Lanes in Kensington. She is a member of the Malvern First Christian Church and a 25-year member of Carroll Chapter #315 O.E.S. She was an avid bingo player and bowler and loved to travel. She loved her family and her life revolved around the seven men in her life. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Wright whom she married August 17, 1958; three sons, Bruce (Ronda) Wright II of Minerva, Jamie (Rebecca) Wright of Minerva and Brian Wright and Emma Walters of Sherrodsville; two sisters, June Hardy of Malvern, Bonnie Casper of Malvern; two brothers, William Stack of Minerva, Luther (Cathy) Stack of Minerva; three grandsons all of Minerva, Jamie S. “Chip” Wright, Taylor Wright and Connor Wright; three stepgrandchildren, Dakota, Andrew and Demi.She was preceded in death by a sister, Glenna Rodgers and a brother, James Stack.Funeral services were held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Eric Crites officiating. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery.
