Andrew Patrick APK Keim, 21, of Millersburg passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Cleveland Metro Medical Center, Cleveland, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.Andrew was born Feb. 16, 1993 in Toledo, and was the son of Gary and Victoria (Johnson) Keim. He was a 2011 graduate of West Holmes High School and was currently attending Ashland University where his freshman year he was inducted into the National Honor Society and made the deans list. He worked at McDonalds in both Ashland and Millersburg. Andrew attended worship services at The Well at the Ashland University Chapel. Music was his passion and it gave him much joy. He was in marching band all four years of high school and his freshman year at Ashland. He was a trumpet player, he played the drums, the guitar and several other instruments. Andrew was a part of the Quidditch Team, was a DJ at WRDL, and he always ran in marathons supporting the American Cancer Society. He enjoyed photography and writing poetry. Andrew loved to fish and he loved NASCAR. He never missed a Sunday. He was not afraid to try something new, and had his hands in just about everything.He is survived by his parents, Gary and Victoria Keim of Millersburg; his brother, Matthew David (Kalee) Keim; his twin sister, Ashley Patricia Shley Keim, and his younger sister, Taylor Leigh Keim all of Millersburg. He is also survived by uncles, Ron (Ellen) Keim of Wilmington, and Bob (Kathy) Thomas of North Ridgeville.He was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Patricia Johnson, maternal great-grandmother, Rev. Juanita Brown, and paternal grandparents, Alfred and Dorothy Keim.Services will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with Pastor Nate Bebout officiating. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to charities Andrew supported, including the American Cancer Society, 525 N. Box 74174, Cleveland 44194-4174, where Andrew gave the gift of life by being an organ donor.
